Fantasy Factor Rules

HOW DO I ENTER A CONTEST?
Open and login to the Fantasy Factor flash app. From the initial Stadium panel, select a contest that you are interested in. In the contest's window, you will see all the details and be able to register by agreeing to the terms and contest fee amount. Once you select a contest, you can begin drafting your fantasy team.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO SELECT MY TEAM?
You have from the time you register until the start time of the contest to complete your draft. A countdown timer is provided in the General Manager panel so that you know exactly how much time you have left to complete and enter your team.

CAN I EDIT MY TEAM IF I MAKE A MISTAKE OR WANT TO CHANGE A PLAYER?
Yes. You can edit your team up until the start of the contest. Once the contest has started, your team is locked.

CAN I UNREGISTER FOR A CONTEST?
No, once you register for a contest, you may not unregister.

WHAT IF I DONT COMPLETE MY DRAFT IN TIME?
Player selections must be completed and confirmed before the start time of a contest. Teams that are incomplete are considered “no-action” and will not be entered into the randomization engine at the start of the contest.

CAN I PLAY MORE THEN ONE TEAM IN THE SAME TYPE OF CONTEST?
Yes. Our patent pending flash app ensures that no player can have two teams in the exact same contest. However since we run multiple contests, our randomization engine will randomize entries so that no players compete against themselves.

CAN I PLAY THE SAME TEAM IN DIFFERENT CONTESTS?
Yes, after you create a team, you can quickly and easily join any other contest and use a team you have already created.

WHY DO YOU "RANDOMIZE" TEAMS IN FIXED LEAGUES?
Randomization prevents both fraud and player collusion, and allows players to enter multiple teams at the same contest sizes and price points.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE PLAYER I SELECT DOES NOT PLAY?
Unfortunately, you will not earn any fantasy points for that position. If you find out that a player you have selected will not play, you can update that position prior to the start of the contest.

WHAT IF ONE OF THE GAMES IS CANCELLED OR RAINED OUT?
You will not earn fantasy points for players in cancelled or rained out games. Weather information is available within the Fantasy Factor Flash app, but you may also want to check local weather forecasts prior to selecting your team.

WHAT IF THERE IS A DOUBLE HEADER?
In most cases, we only schedule and grade the first game of a double header. Stats will not be counted in the second game.

WHEN ARE THE PRIZES PAID AFTER A CONTEST?
Most contests are graded (results are finalized) 1-2 hours after the last contest is completed. Prizewinner's will have their Fantasy Factor accounts credited at that time. Occasionally, if there is difficulty obtaining official results or issues with contest scoring, the contest will not be completed until the following business day.

WHAT IF I DONT AGREE WITH THE RESULTS OF THE CONTEST?
Final contest results are computed using the official statistic feed from The Sports Network. All results are final once the official results have been obtained and graded. Changes to contest statistics made after the initial official statistics have been received will not be considered.
