Step 3: Select Your Team

This selection process is done in the GENERAL MANAGER panel. Fantasy Factor is a contest of skill. There are millions of possible team combinations that you can create, so you will have to use your knowledge of each professional sports player, their respective opponent, along with the various statistics surrounding their matchup, and select your team based on that knowledge. In each contest, you will be asked to select a complete team, position by position, player by player, until your team is full.

The GENERAL MANAGER panel is basically broken up into 3 sections. Contest Information (4), Player Lists, and Your Team. Tabs above the Player lists (5) in the GENERAL MANAGER panel represent the different positions that you will use to complete your team and allows for you to sort through the Player Lists for position eligible players. When making your selections, the application will automatically move you to the next tab once the position is selected, however you are free to jump from tab to tab and select your players in any order.

Player List stats can be sorted by clicking the column headers. To select a player for your team, you click the (+) sign to the left of the player’s name (6). As you make your selections, the players you select will appear in YOUR TEAM (7). If you want to remove a player, click the (-) sign next to their name (8). Once you have formed your complete team, you will be prompted to assign your FACTORS (9). Factors are multipliers that you apply to 2-3 of your team members depending on the type of the contest as each individual contest has different factoring requirements. Team members with an applied factor will have their score multiplied by the assigned factor at the conclusion of the contest. This "weighting" of select team members adds an additional skill component to the contest, so you should assign the factors with great care.
